History
Lost at sea as a child after a freak tidal wave swept her clean off deck, Annalie was rescued and brought up by a family of polar bears, who were surprisingly musical. They taught her to play on instruments that were made of ice.

She soon discovered that nothing beats a good song on a cold day (which was every day) and vowed to spend the rest of her life making delicious music, although preferably somewhere warmer and with fewer man-eating bears around.

So she set off with a wooden spoon and a good scrambled-egg pan and headed for the western hemisphere, where she met a disparate band of musical rebels with nothing to draw them together but a large question mark.

Annalie's songs are stories, some of them dark, from her arctic childhood where in confused isolation she conjured involved fantasies with exotic foreigners, plotted perfect worlds free from wars and pineapples and dreamed of thawing her weary heart and riding her bicycle into the sunset.
